What does the job look like?

As a Waste Management Operations Technician, you are responsible for the operation of seasonal Household Hazardous Waste depots which accept hazardous waste from County of Peterborough residents to be safely and sustainable managed. This position involves the handling, sorting, packing, and recordkeeping of hazardous waste as well as resident education/outreach and other duties as assigned. Organizational skills, a passion for the environment/waste, and a G2 license will be an asset.
